Lio and Cyanne met at a mutual friends birthday party. Not to be cliche, but from the moment they made eye contact across the room, it was meant to be. Love at first sight.
September 2018
Democratic Republic of Congo
Lio took Cyanne on their first international trip to meet his family, they laughed, danced rhumba, visited gorillas, and Cyanne made her best attempts at learning how to cook fufu.
October 2022
Brooklyn, NY
Cyanne and Lio moved into a 4th floor walkup in Bed-Stuy, with their cat Sparrow. They ate delicious food, had many dancing nights, and explored NYC's amazing cultural offerings.
May 2024
Kansas City, MO
Lio proposed to Cyanne during a photoshoot in Kansas City, they smiled, cried happy tears, and went to a NASCAR race the next day.
